About
Jonathan.
Born in 2011, my early developmental environment was characterized by intense domestic volatility. Accounts from parental figures describe a relationship compromised by gambling and mutual accusations of negligence. The physical record of my childhood includes severe violence from my mother, specifically facial trauma involving my eyes and being forcibly thrown from heights onto hard furniture. Despite providing financial support for my education, the household remained a site of consistent verbal and physical aggression.
Between the ages of 10 and 14, my living situation shifted to my grandparents' residence. During this period, my personal autonomy was effectively suspended. I was subjected to a non-consensual curriculum of traditional classical texts and calligraphy. Failure to perform resulted in documented corporal punishment, including beating sessions lasting up to two hours and physical restraint. This period was also defined by repeated false accusations regarding the theft of property, maintaining a state of perpetual psychological tension.
Despite these external pressures, I demonstrated high objective potential. Academically, I achieved a rank of 14th out of nearly 1,000 students in primary school. Athletically, I possessed an innate talent for badminton, which was systematically dismantled by my father’s dismissal of the sport as "utilitarian garbage" compared to Olympic-medal priorities. Cycling briefly served as an independent outlet for freedom, but under extreme domestic duress, I destroyed my bicycle in an act of emotional desperation and terminated the hobby.
In the 6th grade, a significant instance of school violence occurred where I was struck in the head and collapsed, remaining semi-conscious for minutes while observers remained indifferent. This solidified a profound distrust in institutional structures. In middle school, teacher-led corporal punishment and high-intensity psychological pressure led to the full disruption of my academic path. I have been out of the traditional school system since the second semester of the 8th grade.
My ideological shift occurred upon bypassing national information barriers and discovering the principles of individual liberty and democracy. My objective is fixed: emigration to the United States. I find psychological equilibrium in the act of driving and plan to establish a lifelong career as a professional truck or bus driver in America. This domain, jonathangforrest.com, serves as the permanent digital record of this transition.
